This 54 square inch Indoor NoCal surpassed every expectation on its first day out with a surprising 4:14 high time! The HiMax has been a long-time favorite of mine and I finally decided to re-create one of my earliest NoCals.
This model is all straight lines and an easy build with the only complication being the wing struts. They are not difficult to place and add rigidity to the model, but require careful attention while winding the motor.
The coloring is correct for a New Zealand example with a solid yellow and no lettering.
The kit will be cut from 5-6# wood to help you build in lightness.
The recommended prop is a 9"x13" prop with a Larrabee profile and laser-cut prop blades are part of the Short kit.
