Keil Kraft Gipsy - 1/2 Wake SHORT KIT

A half-scale version of the famous 1948 Keil Kraft (England) Wakefield kit.  A simple and straight-forward build, designed to qualify for the Flying Aces Club "1/2 Wake" event.  All 1/16" balsa construction. 

Two prototypes were built using 1/32" ribs and fins and light 1/16" wood, but both were significantly under weight (more than 10 grams had to be added to meet minimum weight).  So all short kits will be cut from 10-12# 1/16" balsa.  My prototype, built from this was still 3 grams under weight.

This short kit contains: 3 pieces of laser-cut balsa and a rolled plan.

ALL VOLARE KITS ARE MADE IN SMALL BATCHES. IF STOCK-ON-HAND IS ZERO, A NEW BATCH WILL BE PRODUCED SOON. SIMPLY ORDER ANYWAY AND WE WILL MAKE THEM.
