The Ace of Diamonds is a 1950 British "lightweight" design (published in the July 1950 Model Aircraft magazine) with a 26" wingspan, a 6" chord, and about 145 square inches of wing area.  This is just about the largest FAC 2-Bit plus One (max 26" span, Old Time Fuselage ROG) model you will find.  And it soars with the best of them.  This is a fantastic flying model.

On its first day of testing, it took minimal trimming and was putting up a string of maxes - over 2 minute - flights.  The highest flight hooked a light thermal and landed at 3:17 after DT-ing at 2:10!

This SHORT KIT contains a new rolled plan, seven sheets of laser cut parts, AND five 3D-printed plastic parts.  This plastic pack includes one Nose Frame, two Dihedral Braces, and two Wing Saddles.  The plastic parts replace plywood part on the original plan.

Choose your plastic color at no extra charge.

Get a 3D-printed Nose block with Gizmo Geezer nose button HERE.  This nose block is designed for use with the Nose Frame in the kit and will fit perfectly.

ALL VOLARE KITS ARE MADE IN SMALL BATCHES. IF STOCK-ON-HAND IS ZERO, A NEW BATCH WILL BE PRODUCED SOON. SIMPLY ORDER ANYWAY AND WE WILL MAKE THEM.
